Sunday vs Sabbath

Are there any Scriptures that mention anybody going to the synagogue on Sunday?

Paul and his company went into the synagogue on Sabbath in Acts 13:14. The answer is “no”.

Are there any Scriptures that mention anybody reading Scripture on Sunday?

Paul and his company read the law and the prophets on Sabbath in Acts 13:15. The answer is “no”.

Did Gentiles ask for a Sabbath sermon that they could’ve had on a Sunday?

Gentiles skipped Sunday for the next Sabbath. Meaning, instead of the next day, they waited a full week in Acts 13:42. The answer is “yes”.

Are you “fallen from grace” for keeping Sabbath?

Paul persuaded people to continue in “the grace of God” between 2 Sabbath sermons in Acts 13:43. The answer in “no”.

Are there any Scriptures that mention almost a whole city coming together for a Sunday sermon?

Acts 13:44 says that “the next Sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.” The answer is “no”.

Are there any Scriptures that mention anybody praying on Sunday?

No, but prayer was made on Sabbath in Acts 16:13.

Was Paul’s ordinary manner to go into the synagogue, on Sundays, and present Scriptural reasoning?

In Acts 17:1-2, “…they came to Thessalonica, where was a synagogue of the Jews: And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three Sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures.” The answer is “no”.

Did Paul reason in the synagogue every Sunday?

In Acts 18:4, Paul “reasoned in the synagogue every Sabbath.”  “And he continued there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.” – Acts 18:11

Tongues vs "Unknown" Tongues vs "Babble"

This series is my answer to the question about my belief on Speaking In Tongues, which I do believe in, but I believe that speaking tongues is when the Holy Spirit bridges language barriers.

A good starting point is Acts 2:1-18, but remember, the main point of the book of Acts was to tell us not only what happened after Jesus ascended, but the story of the early church & how the church grew.

Genesis 11:1-9 depicts where humans went from all speaking 1 language (or tongue) to language barriers that God constructed.  Do you see that this is the origin of "unknown tongues"?

Well, Acts chapter 2 gives us the 1st time our God returned to those language barriers, & the Holy Spirit bridged communication through people of various tongues.  But was the main purpose for bridging these language barriers so people could...

a) edify themselves?

b) spread God's Words?

Well, the answer is to spread God’s Words, but it may be hard to see my point until it's clear that 1 Corinthians 14:22 is all about others.

If you can’t see the warning against speaking “unknown” tongues while promoting Speaking In Tongues, let’s read 1 Corinthians 14 immediately.  Notice verse 19 opposes speaking without understanding, but do you make the connection between Prophecy & Speaking Tongues.

See 1 Corinthians 14:5.  Should we see to edify one's self? Paul clearly says, “Seek to
edify the church", so see verses 5, 12, & 26.

It is impossible to convince me about diet because I had a personal experience that is consistent with what I see in Scripture.  In the spring of 2000, I was working out 3-4 times daily, & began to notice how each meal affected my workouts.

I could go on, but basically, pig gave me headache, & shrimp made me sluggish. Combine that personal experience with Bible verses that support my disdain for swine, & you see why I can’t be persuaded on the topic of clean/unclean meat.

Likewise, with Tongues, did you experience a sensation that can't be forgotten?  I urge you to follow God’s Word, even more than the sensations from your senses.  Marriage rates prove how many are fooled by what they hear, see, & feel, but God’s Word is clear on what marriage is all about.

Anyway, in the context of Paul’s writings, God is “not the author of confusion”, & edifying self is spoken of negatively. If that is not enough, my diet experience is consistent with Scripture, but most people's "experience" with tongues is not.  But what does Scripture say?

"In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto
this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord."

Meaning, I hear people say they're speaking to God in tongues that sound like
jibberish, & they try to use 1 Corinthians 14:3 to justify it, but after reading verse 21-22:

1 - it is about God speaking, not you

2 - it is about speaking to this people, not God

3 - it is spoken to non-believers = as in"all that will not hear me", & those that "believe not"

Continue to verse 22 to help with the context. Tongues are sign for non-believers.  Get it?

TRUTH or False - Those "unknown” tongues are a sign to them who believe not.

False! - Folks, "unknown” tongues are not a sign at all (period).  So should you use a language unknown to a non-believer to preach the Word of God?  Well, the answer is no because the only signs listed are:

1 -  Prophesying

2 - Speaking in Tongues

…both are only stated in verse 22 of 1 Corinthians 14.

Imagine someone over-zealous of spiritual gifts starts speaking Galilaen to you, they
would be speaking "unknown" tongue (unless you speak Galilaen).  Speaking an "unknown" tongue couldn’t have been spoken in Acts 2, unless it was understood only by Galilaen speakers.

Now, I believe that those who equate incomprehensible utterances with "unknown" might not understand the fullness of my angle here. Pray for focus!

In ancient Greece, the priestess of the oracle at Delphi would voice utterances under the influence of intoxicating gases, while a Delphi priest perpetrated as her interpreter. Meaning, the Bible speaks of tongues, prophecy, and “unknown” tongues, but incomprehensible utterances originated outside of the Bible.

The temple at Delphi was for worship of the sun-god Apollo, & even though Rome defeated Greece, they assumed many Greek religious practices.  Rome eventually adopted some Biblical practices too, & in the confusion, gods became saints, Sabbath became sun-day, & glossolalia became tongues....both known and unknown.

Meaning, Incomprehensible utterances fail to qualify as “unknown” tongue let alone speaking in tongues.  A tongue is a language, & Speaking in tongues is a gift of the Spirit in 1 Corinthians 12.

TRUTH or False – 1 Corinthians 12 lists “unknown" tongues as a gift of the spirit.

False!  I easily find speaking in tongues, diversities of tongues, and speaking with tongues, but I can't find the word "unknown" in the whole entire chapter.  Among the gifts of the Spirit, 1 Corinthians 12 lists:

1) divers
kinds of tongues

2) interpretation
of tongues

3) diversities
of tongues

4) do
all speak with tongues?

It does NOT list:

1) divers kinds of
"unknown" tongues

2) interpretation of
"unknown" tongues

3) diversities of
"unknown" tongues

4) do all speak with
"unknown" tongues.

TRUTH or False – Outside of 1 Corinthians 14, “unknown” tongues will not appear in the whole entire Bible.

TRUTH - There is no reason to doubt that every single witness of Paul and Peter’s ministry understood the language every time the Spirit spoke in, with, or through Tongues.

TRUTH or False – “Unknown” tongues were never spoken in the whole entire Book of Acts.

TRUTH - See Biblegateway.com & do search the word "tongues" for yourself.  Again por
ejemplo, that's 2 words in an unknown tongue to anyone that doesn't know Spanish.

TRUTH or False – Everyone understood the language being spoken in Acts 2.

I don’t know every language, & I don’t want to know every tongue, but wherein I was born, “every” means every, & TRUTH is in Acts 2:38, “…how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we where born?”

I heard there is reference to a “personal prayer language” in the Bible.  I try to find the reason for and purpose of speaking in tongues, because God gives the reason & purpose for everything in His Word.

I read the context where “unknown" tongues are mentioned as if someone who hears “unknown” tongues knows what He is speaking, and someone else does not.

I know that even when “unknown” tongues are mentioned, somebody, at least two
people are around each other.

What I don't see (and feel free to show me) is...

-  your "personal prayer life"(?)

-  a "personal prayer language"

-  a text that promote tongues without 1 listener who comprehends the speaker

TRUTH or False - Jesus Himself connects speaking in tongues to preaching.

TRUTH - And He said unto them,"Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believes not shall be
damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In My name shall they
cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues"...Mark 16:15-17

- "Glossolalia” is babbling incomprehensible utterances & unintelligible jibberish never even hinted to....in the whole entire Original King James Bible!

- Speaking in tongues - communication that the Holy Spirit interprets from the language of the speaker into the language of the listener

- "Unknown“ is a language that foreigners no comprende, no hablamos, no entiendos, no
mas y no menos (more or less).

TRUTH or False – Paul readily admits speaking tongues, but notice, he never once even hints that he speaks in “unknown” tongues.

TRUTH - Re-read 1 Corinthians 12 & 14, & think about how wrong it is that "Christian churches" teach the Holy Spirit urges incomprehensible utterances, & worse...that it is impossible to be saved without speaking in tongues?!?  That is not Biblical.

Acts 13:9, says that Paul was filled with the Holy Ghost, but there is no mention of Tongues.  Matter of fact, Acts gives eighteen (18) stories about the Holy Ghost, but tongues are mentioned in only three (3) of those stories!  Let me know if you want to see the list.

Until then...

I pray that you correct this preaching & teach others the correct doctrine.

Church (RCC) Beast (Rome) Coins

Europa comes from the Phoenician word EROB, meaning "where the sun sets" ( as it was west of Phoenicia). Europa was a lover of Zeus in Greek mythology. Zeus appeared as a white bull who crossed the ocean with Europa on his back.
Jesus gave the church keys to loose blessings in Heaven & Earth in Matthew 16:19, but Catholics claim only Peter, their first Pope was given the keys. This coin has him sitting on planet Earth.

Rome, "The Kingdom of 7 Hills" or "The City of 7 Hills" admit it an ancient Roman coin featuring Roma, the false goddess sitting on 7 hills.
Revelation 17:9 says the woman (church) sits on 7 mountains.

Jesus Foreshadowed

What furniture was in the courtyard?
Answer:   A. The altar of burnt offerings where animals were sacrificed was located in the courtyard, just inside its entrance (Exodus 27:1-8). This altar represented the cross of Christ. The animal represented Jesus, the ultimate sacrifice (John 1:29).
B. The laver, located between the altar and the entrance of the sanctuary, was a large washbasin made of brass. Here priests washed their hands and feet before offering a sacrifice or entering the sanctuary (Exodus 30:17-21 38:8). The water represented cleansing from sin, or the new birth (Titus 3:5).

What furniture was in the holy place?
Answer:   A. The table of shewbread (Exodus 25:23-30) represented Jesus, the living bread (John 6:51).  B. The seven-branch candlestick (Exodus 25:31-40) represented Jesus, the light of the world (John 9:5 1:9). The oil represented the Holy Spirit (Zechariah 4:1-6 Revelation 4:5). C. The Alter of Incense (Exodus 30:7, 8) represented the prayers of God's people, with Jesus as Intercessor (Hebrews 7:25).
*Water or fire…which 1 is going to clean the Earth when Jesus comes back?  See 2 Peter 3:10. Who’s heard of Noah’s Ark…what did God clean the earth with?  See 2 Peter 3:6-7. According to the United States School of Water Science, the earth is about 70% water.  Your body is about the same amount.  Do you think God wanted Noah & his neighbors to be ready? Does He want you to be ready? Matt 24:35-39; 50-51; 3:11.

What furniture was in the most holy place?
The ark of the covenant, the only piece of furniture in the most holy place (Exodus 25:10-22), was a box or chest of acacia wood overlaid with gold. The Ten Commandments were inside the ark (Deuteronomy 10:4, 5). Standing atop the chest were two angels made of solid gold. Between these angels was the mercy seat (Exodus 25:17-22), where the supernatural presence of God dwelt. This symbolized God's throne in heaven, which is likewise located between two angels (Psalms 80:1).
The Ten Commandments represent God's character, meaning the Ten Commandments state what God always does, what God will never do, what He likes, and what He does not like.

It's written in stone.

Do Bible Versions Matter? 3

It’s sad enough for the “Illuminati” to view us as expendables without you ignoring it while reading their tainted Bibles.  The Secret Societies equate those of us who are not “enlightened” to a herd of cattle.  Please double-check your Bibles…please.

Revelation 5:14 – Some Bibles stop at worship, the context is to worship the Lamb, so make sure your Bible doesn’t try to hide that Jesus is worthy.

John 6:43 – Should we just believe?  …or believe in Jesus.  Be careful that your Bible doesn’t make it possible to believe in only yourself.  You can’t even keep a promise to yourself (to stop sinning or keep a Bible study).  Only God's promises are sure.

Micah 5:2 – Which is older, an origin from ancient days, or goings forth from everlasting?  I say everlasting.   Think, Jesus has no start, nor end, & goings forth means He was active before the beginning.

1 Timothy 3:16 – Some Bibles just say that he was manifested.  Make sure yours says God was manifested in the flesh, & don't fall for the secret agenda that God did not come in the flesh...named Jesus Christ

1 John 4:3 – If your Bible doesn’t even confess that Jesus has come in the flesh, it is Anti-Christ.

Mark 7:16 – The Dark Ages were the result of the Church not allowing the open, free, & public access to Scripture. See http://www.justforcatholics.org/a198.htm

Mark 11:26 – The hidden agenda is to omit verses that place the Father in Heaven…so that a Father on Earth can claim to forgive sin….see blasphemy.

Do Bible Versions Matter? 2

Biblegateway.com allows Bible translations to be compared.  Today’s Bibles all come from copies of ancient manuscripts, meaning, there is not 1 original manuscript today. The Tectus Receptus, meaning "Greek Received Texts", give the most reliable collection of copies because it is built on Matthew 18:16.

Meaning, a thing may be established at the mouth of 2 or 3 witnesses, & the Word Himself, Jesus supported that idea.  Deuteronomy 17:6 and 19:15 give the 2 other witnesses by the way, but the context is about "how to establish truth".  Let’s check a few Bible verses that I researched using Biblegateway.com to show why the King James Version is more than just a preference.

Daniel 3:25 – The pre-existence of Jesus is evidenced by the 1 who looks like the Son of God (not says son of the gods).

Revelation 13:8 – Jesus was sent to be slain by a plan that was made before Earth even existed, but most Bibles twist this verse away from the pre-existence of Jesus (because that would make Him God). See all except NIV.

Ephesians 3:9 – Avoid Bibles that resist that Jesus is truly had a hand in creation, because the Creator is the synonymous with God.  Compare & contrast.

Proverbs 8:22 – Watch out for Bibles that try to make Jesus a created man & not the Creator, especially footnotes in the margin (in italics). See all except NASB.

Mark 16:9-20 – To make us doubt Jesus’ resurrection, check if these verses only appear in footnotes, in brackets, or in margins.

Job 19:26 – The hidden agenda is to reject the idea of resurrection of the dead, so instead of Job seeing God in his flesh, it is italicized in the margin to create doubt…as if Job will be a ghost when he sees God.  (sigh)

John 9:4 - The hidden agenda is the idea that Jesus was not sent from God to work for us, & since we are 1 with the Universe, we can work on our own behalf....saved by our own works.  Sneaky.

John 5:39 - The hidden agenda undermine the authority in Jesus' ability to command...to a simple statement about what they already do. Smh.
